Love Letter to Lemon Oil

As you may know, after swearing off selling or being loyal to one brand of skin care or makeup, I have fallen in love with Young Living’s essential oils. I’ve used essential oils in the past, in my 25+ years as an Esthetician, adding them to skin creams, massage oils, fragrances, etc. But YL’s are so pure “from seed to seal” that you can take them internally. This opened a whole new world for me, and I am so impressed that I became a distributor so I can share it with my friends and family. Please visit http://www.youngliving.org/darilynnt you can purchase it retail or spend $50 in a year after your initial purchase and get it for wholesale & sell to your friends. No monthly minimums to purchase like with other direct selling. That’s another thing that sold me, and you can’t beat the wholesale prices for the quality of oils you get. There are so many oils that do so many wonderful things, it’s overwhelming. So I will share one oil at a time. Right now I cannot get enough of LEMON!!! Here are some reasons why…

  • The active ingredient in Lemon Oil is D-Limonene, a natural chemical that uplifts yet calms the mind and body, giving a feeling a well-being whenever it’s used. A natural anti-depressant!
  • Young Living’s Lemon Oil is safe to ingest. Add ONE DROP (that’s all you need) to a tall glass of water, iced tea, hot tea or smoothie. It provides antioxidants & vitamins as well as EATING the chlorine that’s in your water and the petrochemicals in your body. For this reason, it will eat through plastic & styrofoam over time. Drink out of glass.
  • Can be worn as an uplifting perfume behind the ears. Do not apply to skin that will be exposed to the sun, as it is photosensitive and will cause irritation.
  • A natural (and non-poisonous) Antiseptic. Add to water or vinegar to clean & disinfect the air. Keep in a glass bottle if you will be storing it. It will digest the poison plastic.
  • Anti-fungal. Removes warts & nail fungus when applied daily.
  • Can be used in food. I add one drop to tuna salad. Just a drop will flavor just about anything with lemon.
  • Apply to bottoms of the feet at bedtime when you or a child (or even BABY) has a cold. Delivers powerful vitamins to heal.
  • Applied to spider veins daily increases micro-circulation & makes them disappear over time.
  • One drop removes odors from hands. Great for after cooking with garlic or onion!
  • Add a drop to stinky shoes overnight to freshen & kill germs!
  • There are many more things I will add as I try them myself….
